OFF CAMPUS PASS
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Send a note with your child to the Foothill Office before school starts in order for your student to leave campus during normal school hours.
On your note state the following:
Your child will be issued an Off Campus Pass, then will sign out in the office and will meet you in front of Foothill for pick-up at the designated time.
If you are unable to send your child with a note, you can call Foothill directly: 682-8000 x5703
Request an Off Campus Pass over the phone at least 1 HOUR AHEAD of your intended pick-up time. Please note: We may not be able to send for your child in a timely manner at the end of the school day if you did not follow the 1 HOUR protocol.
FOR YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY
Foothill is a closed campus. It is essential that the Foothill Office knows your child’s location while on and off campus during school hours.
For your child’s safety, students are not to leave campus WITHOUT an Off Campus Pass during school hours.
Upon returning from an appointment or if arriving late to school, students are required to check-in at the Foothill Office BEFORE going to class and receive a Re-admit Slip.
Absences will not be cleared if a student leaves campus without an Off Campus Pass.
If a student is sick or not feeling well during the school day, the student must call from the front office and office personnel will speak directly to the parent /legal guardian. This is designed for student safety and wellbeing.
Please note that we do not have the facilities for ill or injured children and appreciate an immediate response for your child’s welfare. Your emergency contacts on AERIES/HomeLink must be kept current.
