Walk Thru Information

Hello! 

We are getting ready for the 2019-2020 school year.  For your convenience, we have added credit or debit card payment options online at our Foothill Webstore to pay for classroom donations, PE clothes, and planner.   


Makeup Walk-Thru in A-6 on the following dates and times

Do not enter the Foothill Office.  Enter in the A-Wing Hallway and wait in line.

Monday, August 12: 8:00am to 10:00am

Tuesday, August 13: Office Staff unavailable due to training (no Walk-Thru available)

Wednesday, August 14: 9:00am to 11:30am & 12:30pm to 3:00pm                


PRIOR TO WALK THRU 

Step 1: mdusd.org/homelink  Set up HomeLink/AERIES Account

  • Be sure you have a PARENT HomeLink account through AERIES.

  • Incoming 6th grade families have received and email with the information you will need to set up your HomeLink AERIES account.

  • Please contact: martine@mdusd.org if you have not received your HomeLink information.  Subject line: HomeLink Info Needed. In the body of the email: Your name, your child’s full name, student ID, and your cell phone number. 

  • We cannot retrieve forgotten passwords. Click on the "Forgot Password?" link.

  • SAVE this information as your child will need to set up their own account under STUDENT (once school starts) with their school issued email. You and your child will use this account through their senior year in high school with MDUSD. 


Step 2: mdusd.org/homelink  - Student Data Verification Process & Emergency Card

  • Starting August 1st, you will go into your HomeLink AERIES account and begin the process of Data Verification. mdusd.org/homelink.   

Here is the “How-To” instructions: (Instructions PDF):

  • You will need to update student information, parent/guardian contact information, medical information, and emergency contacts.
  • We cannot emphasize enough how important it is for you to update your information. We do most of our communication through emails and call you or your contacts in case of an emergency
  • You will have documents to read and sign electronically.
  • Print out the Emergency Card (last step) and sign. BRING the Emergency Card to Walk-Thru.  You cannot get your child’s schedule without the signed Emergency Card.  We do not have the facilities to print your Emergency Card at Walk-Thru.

  • Make your Parent Faculty Association (PFA) donation on their website:

Step 4:  FMS Pay Online 

Still a work in progress ☺  – Foothill Classroom Donations – we are finalizing schedules so you can make donations according to chosen electives.  

You must register for an account from the FMS Webstore in order to buy or make donations.  

  • Make Classroom Donations online through our web store.
  • Pay for PE Clothes (if needed). PE clothes will be distributed during PE classes.
  • Pay for Planner

Step 5: konstella.comSign up for the Online Foothill Directory

  • If you don't already have an account or haven't added your child to the Foothill Directory, go to konstella.com.
  • Click "Find Your School" in the upper right corner of the page.
  • Search for Foothill Middle School, select it and click Next.
  • Enter your name, email and child's name, then select your child's year of (high school) graduation and click Submit.
  • Admins will verify your information to add you and your child to Foothill

Help support Foothill and promote your business with an advertisement in the school directory.  

  • If you know of someone who has a business to promote, this is an excellent way to reach more than 900 families in our community.  There are multiple ad sizes available from full page to business card size.

  • Buy a yearbook through Herff Jones' website. Use school code: 6047
  • Cost is $50.00 through October 31, 2019
  • On November 1, 2019 the cost will increase to $65.00red arrow

Step 8: ciphotoca.com/foothillOrder School Pictures.

  • Order school pictures prior to August 19th. Send print out of order with your child on the 19th or 20th of August. We will have student's pictures taken for ID's and pre-purchased packets during their PE class.

Other Information

  2. 6th Grade Immunization Record – Most 6th graders already have their required 7th Grade Tdap booster shot and 2nd Varicella.  If desired, you can drop off an updated copy of your child’s immunizations at Walk Thru when we check your Residency Verification and we will update our records accordingly. 
  3. **6th Grade Residency Verification: Please be prepared to show proof of residency. See this link for required documents: (6th Grade Residency Verification).  You will not be able to proceed with Walk-Thru until we have your proof of residency on file. 
  4. 7th Grade Proof of Tdap and 2nd Varicella:  No shots. No Schedule. No School. Please check your HomeLink/AERIES account.  Click on the “Medical” tab. If you see “All Requirements Met” you are good to attend Walk-Thru.  Website Information

For your planning:

  • The Foothill Office will be closed during Walk-Thru, Wednesday August 7th.
  • Please do not park in the Administrator spaces.
  • We will not be able to take any proof of immunization on the day of Walk-Thru.  

We really appreciate all those who can attend Walk-Thru on Wednesday, August 07th but we understand that you may have plans that interfere with Walk Thru. 

  • We will post the make up Walk-Thru dates and times on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 7th

For those who can attend August 7th but still…

  • Do not have the 6th grade documents to verify your address.
  • Need to show proof if your 7th grade child's Tdap.
  • Need to sign up for HomeLink/AERIES.
  • Need to do data verification.
  • Need to print out your Emergency Card.
  • Need to print out receipts.

Please attend one of the make up days.  Our goal is to have a short Walk-Thru experience on August 7th. We have a limited staff and all clerical will be participating in Walk Thru to make the experience as quick as possible.
