ECK is now in-person. ECK encourages students to reduce, reuse and recycle on the Foothill campus with the intent of additionally reducing, reusing and recycling at home. ECK will specifically be focusing this year on encouraging and promoting the use of on campus and backyard compost bins in order to reduce food waste and in-home recycling bins. ECK has received a $4,000.00 grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) Ocean Guardian School Program.
This is open to all Foothill students - No experience is required.
Purpose: There is a need for programs to inspire students to develop an early interest in robotics, programming, and technology as a result of declining participation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math programs. A collection of resources providing research on this trend and the need that employers have to fill STEM positions.
